Goals

A quote to ponder:
“The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.”
-Michelangelo

My Opinion
What a great quote, although even worse is not having an aim or goal at all. If we do choose a goal, so many of us often set goals that we know how to achieve. This is not the main purpose of a goal, and this can often lead to dissatisfaction. The main purpose of a goal is to stretch you beyond your current limitations; to pull out of yourself something that you did not even know you possessed.
I encourage all of you to set yearlong goals that will scare and excite you at the same time.

Until next time....

  1. Mediocrity -- that is the devil in disguise here!

It's that time of the year; a post on New Year resolutions coming up? :)
